01 / Overview

Trade perps.
Spend the profit.

Pryft is a perpetual futures exchange for tokenized stocks, ETFs and real-world assets on Robinhood Chain. You go long or short with up to 5x leverage, settle in USDG, and close whenever you like. There is no expiry date on a position.

Once your net realized profit reaches $25, you can issue the Pryft Card and spend your trading gains anywhere cards are accepted. The more you make, the higher your card's spend limit.

  • Sign in with your wallet. No email, no password.
  • Prices come from onchain USDG pools that trade around the clock.
  • Your maximum loss on any position is the margin you put in.
02 / Quick start

Four steps

01
Connect

Click Connect wallet and sign a one-time message. Signing is free and never moves funds.

02
Deposit

Send USDG on Robinhood Chain from your wallet. It is credited 1:1 as your USD balance.

03
Trade

Pick a market, choose long or short, set size and leverage, and open the position.

04
Spend

Close in profit. At $25 net realized profit, issue your Pryft Card from the Card tab.

03 / Markets

71 markets

Every market is a Robinhood Chain Stock Token with a real USDG liquidity pool behind it, so every listed price is one someone could actually trade against. All markets allow up to 5x leverage.

Pricing, around the clock

The mark price for each market is read from its deepest onchain USDG pool, which trades 24/7, including nights and weekends. The chart and the mark always use the same source for a given market.

Stale pricesIf a market's price can't be refreshed, it is marked stale and new trades on it are paused until fresh prices return. This protects you from opening at a price that is out of date.
04 / Trading

How a trade works

You enter size as USD notional, the total exposure of the position. The margin you lock is the notional divided by your leverage. Profit and loss are calculated on the full notional.

MarginNotional ÷ Leverage
Size (units)Notional ÷ Entry price
PnL, longSize × (Exit − Entry)
PnL, shortSize × (Entry − Exit)

Spread0.10%Fill is shaded from mark on open and on close
Trading fee0.05%Of notional, on open and on close
Funding rate0%None. Hold as long as you like
Liquidation fee0%No extra fee or spread on liquidation

Longs buy slightly above the mark and sell slightly below it; shorts do the reverse. To open a position you need enough available balance for the margin plus the opening fee.

05 / Liquidation

Your loss is capped

A position is liquidated when its unrealized loss reaches the margin you posted. When that happens you lose exactly your margin and nothing more, even if the price gapped further. Your other balance is never touched.

Good to knowIf you try to close a position whose price has already passed its liquidation level, it settles as a liquidation, not a regular close.
06 / Risk limits

Limits

Every trade is checked against these limits before it opens. If a trade would break one, it is rejected with a message telling you which.

LimitValue
Leverage1X – 5X
Minimum position size$5
Maximum per position$25,000
Maximum total open, per trader$50,000
Maximum open positions, per trader20

Pryft also caps the total long-versus-short imbalance across all traders and keeps a reserve. Very large opens can occasionally be rejected when the platform is near those limits; smaller sizes usually go through.

07 / Funds

Deposits & withdrawals

Deposit

Deposits are made in USDG, a dollar stablecoin, on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663). Send USDG from the wallet you signed in with to the deposit address shown in the app. Once the transfer confirms, your balance is credited 1:1 in USD.

  • Send from the same wallet you are signed in with, or the deposit can't be matched to you.
  • You need a little ETH on Robinhood Chain to pay gas for the transfer.
  • Each transaction is credited once. If a deposit doesn't show, paste its transaction hash in the Account panel.

Withdraw

Withdraw any available balance, meaning funds not locked as margin in open positions. Withdrawals are paid out in USDG to your wallet at 1:1. Your balance is debited when you request, and if a payout ever fails, the amount is refunded to your balance.

08 / The Pryft Card

09 / Insights

Insights

The rules above, turned into the numbers that actually matter when you're deciding how to trade.

Round-trip cost
~0.30%
Of notional, open to close

Spread 0.10% each way plus fee 0.05% each way. The price needs to move about 0.30% in your favour just to break even, no matter your leverage.

Leverage multiplies costs too
1.5%
Of margin, per round trip at 5x

Costs are charged on notional, so at 5x a round trip eats about 1.5% of the margin you posted, versus 0.3% at 1x. Frequent in-and-out trading at high leverage adds up fast.

Room to be wrong
20%
Adverse move that liquidates 5x

At 2x you can absorb a 50% move. Single stocks can move 20% on earnings; for positions you hold through big news, lower leverage keeps you in the trade.

Fastest path to the card
~0.8%
Move on $1,000 margin at 5x

$1,000 at 5x is $5,000 notional. A move of roughly 0.8% covers the ~$15 in round-trip costs and books about $25 profit. Remember the $15 fee and $10 funding also come out of your balance.

No funding rate
$0
Cost of holding overnight

Many perp venues charge funding every few hours. Pryft doesn't, so costs are the same whether you hold for a minute or a month. Longer, higher-conviction trades are cheaper here.

Weekend markets
24/7
Stocks keep pricing

Because prices come from onchain pools, you can react to weekend news before traditional markets open, in both directions. Plan for gaps: liquidation is capped at your margin.

11 / FAQ

FAQ

Do I own the underlying stock?

No. A perpetual future gives you price exposure, long or short, without holding the asset. You settle profit and loss in USD, credited from USDG.

Can I lose more than I deposit?

No. Each position's loss is capped at the margin you posted for it. Liquidation settles at exactly that margin even if the price moves further.

Why was my trade rejected?

Usually it's one of: not enough available balance for margin plus the opening fee, a size outside $5 to $25,000, your total open exposure passing $50,000, 20 positions already open, or the market's price being stale. The error message says which.

Is there a funding rate?

No. You pay the spread and a 0.05% fee when you open and when you close. Holding a position costs nothing extra.

Does my card tier ever go down?

No. Tiers only upgrade. If you later have losing trades, your spend limit stays at the highest tier you reached.

Which wallet should I use?

Any browser wallet that supports Robinhood Chain, such as MetaMask or Rabby. The app will ask to add or switch to the network when you connect.

Where can I get help or updates?
